From the Pastor:
As Winter approaches, and the possibility of snow and ice heads our way, remember that if there’s a question as to if we are having services or not please go to the church Facebook Page.
Tonight at 6:00 we continue our walk through the “Sermon On The Mount.” We hope to see every one here tonight as we worship the Lord Jesus, and study His holy Word.
This Saturday, December 7th at 6:00 P.M., will be the annual “Ladies Christmas Tea.” It will be held in the “Community Room,” and is a great night of fellowship that no lady, young or old, will want to miss.
We praise the Lord for the feed back we are getting from the community spurred by the article in the Messenger-Inquirer about the “King’s Table.” This ministry is always looking to serve even more in our community so please pray about giving financially to this ministry. Lets cover Owensboro with the love of the Lord.
Message for Sunday, November 24, 2013:
Sermon Title: ”Eating Some Humble Pie”
Scripture: James 4:6
The journey that is the Christian life is a process of maturing, of growing in relationship with our heavenly Father. Praise the Lord, He has made a way to make this journey extremely doable if we will simply do one thing. Today we take a good look at that one thing.
Every Saturday evening from 8:00-9:00 we gather for prayer here in our sanctuary. This is a special time of intimacy with the Father, and a blessing to all who come. Pastor John encourages every one to just simply come and give it a try one Saturday, and see if you don’t walk away glad you came.
